Took a picture of my darling husband, since he is the one who is always telling me to get out the camera. So here is my pic of the day! My hubby and motivator! If it weren't for him I wouldn't be me!

Like any other day...

Well, today was like any other day! I got caught up on the many loads of laundry that seem to all of a sudden appear in my home! I cleaned one of two bathrooms and cleaned the master bedroom. Let me warn you, I can be very neurotic when it comes to cleaning, if you haven't figured that out yet! It always seems like I am cleaning something! Well I am. So today was like any other day. However I will admit that in the 6 and half years that I have been married I never really did my husbands laundry. He always did his own, it must be a military thing. But lately since I finished college in December and became a full time stay at home mommy I have been doing his laundry! He says I must really love him because boy do his feet stink after being in those boots all day long! Don't tell him I told you though, he is sensitive about it! Heehee! Anyways, at one point this evening he happened to notice some birds out on the wood pile near the bird feeder. We are nature lovers and feed any and every animal we see! He starts yelling for me to get the camera but move slowly. I grab the camera and slowly creep to the window and this is what I saw! It was a cardinal and his mate. Other than that it was a day like any other day! Hope you had a great Monday and will have a terrific Tuesday!

Mother's Day!

Well today is Mother's Day....let's recap my day. I woke up to the smell of Pancakes! My hubby Wayne made me breakfast, Pancakes & Sausage with OJ. The kids gave me my cards. I opened my new mini-food chopper and then order my new camera lens. We all got ready for church. We had a great service and then went to Barbara Jeans for lunch! Yum! Then we went to Logan Park downtown and took some photos. Afterwards we came home and all took a nap! I got up around 6pm and have been on the computer ever since! All in all it has been a good day! I hope all you moms out there had a great day too! So now here are some shots from today!

A Get Together

As many of you already know, Amy and I and all the kids got together on Friday for a little play date. We had a great time even though it was super hot! The kids got to eat their lunch at the park, play, and go get ice cream! The ice cream was well worth it considering the hot hot hot weather we experienced. Anyways here are some of the pics I took! An accident

I was taking pictures of the girls blowing bubbles. Hannah, my 5 y/o decided she would rather sit and swing instead of blowing bubbles. My 2 y/o Lilly on the other hand was more than happy to continue blowing bubbles. I decided to take a few shots of Hannah in the swing when I caught this picture! One of Lilly's bubbles made it into the picture! It's kinda neat. Check it out!

God's Wonders

Last night Wayne, Myself and kids were outside enjoying the cool air and nice breeze. For once it was nice to have a breeze stong enough to keep the sand fleas away! As I was holding Lucas and watching Lilly and Hannah swing on the swing set I looked up and saw a gorgeous rainbow! Wayne, of course knowing his wife, said I am going to go and get you the camera. (A man after my own heart) He came rushing out with the camera and he took Lucas from my arms so that I could capture "God's Wonders" As I snapped the pics, Wayne told the kids the story of Noah and the flood and how God's promise to us came in the form of a rainbow. It was a very precious moment. These are a couple of pics of that rainbow and then one of the evening sky!

A quickie

Here is another pic! I meant to post it last night but apparently a stomach bug is going through my home and family! So here is another pic, this one is of Hannah, at dockside. Dock Side

Today was a full day! Hannah had her dance recital this afternoon. It was fun. Afterwards, we went to Dock Side rest. in Port Royal for dinner. It was good eatin'! I took almost 150 pictures today but this one of Lilly was by far the best of the day! I would love to post and or talk more but I have family in town and Hubby doesn't want me on the computer to much! Hope everyone had a great Saturday!

Finally!

Yes, I finally finished my housework! It only took 4 days with all the interruptions and headaches! Now, all I have to do is wait 2 more hours before my family arrives to mess it all up! Oh the joys of a homemaker! With that said, once again I am posting an older picture. This picture I took the Sunday at the Air Show! Wayne had a great time showing Hannah the inside of a Hum-V (sp ??). For those of you who don't know my oldest daughter Hannah and her Daddy are the best of buds! They do almost everything together! Even the dirty stuff! Ewww! I don't like to be dirty! Anyways, enough rambling here is the pic! Hope you all are having a good thursday!

Another day and yet more work

Well, today is another day. Everything I wanted to accomplish yesterday did not happen! Well except the laundry that had piled up around here. It was constant interruptions yesterday! My guests just may have to get over a dirty house I guess! One of my interruptions yesterday was Hannah's ballet, so when I got home I decided that it was time to get out the camera, but then my hubby came home and decided that we needed to go to Lowe's to pick out the stone for our new patio which has to be finished before June because of a possible deployment! So I put the camera down. But when we got home I thought there might just be enough light to take some photos but their really wasn't. I went ahead and took some photos anyways. This is what I got. This is a picture of a little statue that my mother made me for me garden. Enjoy! I hope everyone has a good Wednesday!

Busy, Busy, Busy

Well, first I want to say thanks for all the welcomes! It would appear that Amy has hooked quite a few of us! I am excited about starting this, but I will say that I am very busy this week and may be posting older pictures from earlier this month. I hope that isn't a problem! I have family coming into town later this week and my house is a disaster area! Yesterday's migraine put me behind! So now I have to catch up! So I am starting my busy house cleaning day on the computer because I will not be able to get on the computer later! So here is a picture from the saturday before Easter. Myself and the 3 kiddos spent Easter in VA visiting our families, and what do you know we got snow!!! My kids were loving it even though it didn't last very long! I tell you it was weird seeing spring flowers and snow! So here is one of my favorite pictures from that day. Oh and on a side note, I look forward to getting to know everyone!
