Took a picture of my darling husband, since he is the one who is always telling me to get out the camera. So here is my pic of the day! My hubby and motivator! If it weren't for him I wouldn't be me!
And what a handsome sailor he makes! I don't think I've ever seen him in his uniform. Great job, girl!
I'm sick...so I think I'm actually off to bed. Probably won't even go into the office tomorrow. What's the use? I hardly got any work done today....so I have plenty to keep me busy without going to pick up more! Talk to you soon!
I've always had a soft spot in my heart for sailors. My dad was in the Navy. I have a picture of him in his 1945 uniform, he was all of 17 years old!
Back in the day, my dad would go down to Port Royal docks and bring a couple guys off the ships (usually, from other countries) to our house, so they could call home, get a good meal and have some "family" time away from home.
My dad passed away in 1999, but these memories, keep him alive in my heart. Thanks for your husband's service.
That looks like a real military photo!!! It is so funny seeing them in civi's and then in uniform, huh???? For my husband it is odd not to see him in his ACU's. And I don't know about you, but my kids see one uniform and they think it is daddy!!!
I am a 32y/o wife of a Navy Corpsman and a stay at home mom of 5 beautiful children with which God has entrusted me. I am a homeschooling mom! I love taking pictures, scrapbooking, working with kids and being a mommy and wife. But most of all I love God and am so thankful that He sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for my sins and your sins. "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9
I originally started this blog as a photo-a-day blog. I was hoping that it would get me to use my camera more. Why, yes it did that but I do not always get to be on the computer every day so downloading became an issue. So, now I have decided that I will use it to post on things about life, homeschooling, mothering and family issues, and yes I will post photos every now and then!

This is a very good pic Tara! Nice job with the flag in it! I can't seem to to add your blog to mine. What is the address?
What is it about a man in uniform? What a handsome fella!!
I have to admit, Jeff in his dress uniform with his Stetson hat on is quite the turn on, too.
